Count the blessings!

How I love the sky! I could marvel the beauty of the grand azure for hours on a pasture like this. We went to Stonehenge in March, and was totally blown away by the incredible scenery. Believe me, for someone who grew up in a cement jungle, THIS is extraordinary.

I still remember back in 1992, in Honolulu, where I spent one year as an exchange student. As I walked along the path, two old ladies were overjoyed, shouting, pointing at the sky. "What the..." I looked back behind me and realized that it was the full rainbow that they were excited about. "Isn't that amazing? A full rainbow!" said one lady. The other explained, "we came from Texas, and we've never seen anything as big as this!"

Don't we all take the blessings in our lives for granted some times? I may had been amazed by the full rainbow in Hawaii at the first sight, but after seeing the same thing every day, I don't feel special about it anymore. Very often we only begin to appreciate something when it was taken away from us. But that would be too late, don't you think?

Seize the day! I can't find any better advice for you, my friend. Make it a good one today for yourself, and the ones you love!
